I found these Wild Pine Mushrooms growing in the wooded garden at our house in the Dandenong Ranges outside of Melbourne. After some quick photo exchanges with fungi-studied friends I decided they were safe to eat. They were quite subtle in flavour but still delicious. It was just so exciting to see these crazy fungi popping up out of nowhere and then being able to pick and eat them!
