Our Magnificent Farmer’s Market Plunder

While we have worked at Lentil As Anything at the Abbotsford Convent for many many months we have never actually made it to the monthly Convent Farmer’s Market. We have always just rushed through on our way to work, gazing longingly at all the beautiful produce, only to see all the stalls pack up and leave before we can get to it!

Today we finally managed to get up in time to shop at the farmer’s market… Here’s some photos of our magnificent plunder:

Heaps of heirloom produce was available including golden beetroot, white and red carrots, purple kale, stinging nettle and methi. On the dairy front there was raw ‘bath’ milk as well as the amazing Holy Goat cheese. The prices were great value and everything is such amazing quality and all comes from local organic farms. Can’t wait for the next market… the perfect way to start the day!
